Data controller
The data controller is GoToEvent Latvija (contact@gotoevent.lv).
Data collected
Account: name, email, hashed password, optional profile photo, creation date, sign-in method.
Participation: events you join and registration date.
Publications: events and groups you create (venue, description, organizer contacts, images).
Technical: session cookies, language preference, minimal server logs.
Purposes and legal bases
Account creation and event participation: contract performance (terms of use).
Publishing events: contract performance and legitimate interest in operating the platform.
Security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest.
Google sign-in: contract performance, via Google according to its own policy.
Recipients and processors
Your data is not sold. It may be processed by the service host
The map uses OpenStreetMap tiles. Organizer contacts you publish are visible to logged-in users on the event page.
Retention
Active account: kept while the account exists.
After account deletion: erasure or anonymization within 30 days, unless law requires otherwise.
Session cookies: removed when the browser closes or when you log out.
Your rights
You have GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability.
From your account page you can edit your profile, export your data, and delete your account.
